Bobbi Conger, a 1947 graduate of USD, was a long-time teacher who played a major role in promoting and effecting change in competition for girls' in high school. Conger, a strong supporter of Coyote Women's Athletics, taught physical education in Yankton, Belle Fourche, Pierre, and Rapid City for 32 years. She was instrumental in promoting girls' competition in the South Dakota High School Association. Later, Conger served on the advisory committee to the South Dakota High School Activites Board and she was president of the South Dakota Association for Health, Physical Education and Recreation.
