Gene Macken, originally of Rochester, MN, is regarded as one of the best offensive lineman in school history. He starred for the Coyotes form 1968-72, earning all-North Central Conference honors at guard in 1970 and 1971. At 6-2, 235 points, Macken was big and strong with excellent speed. An extremely tough competitor, Macken was a three-year started who earned Associated Press Little America honors and was named the NCC's Most Valuable Lineman in 1971. Macken is employed at Bell Property Management in Milwaukee, WI.
