Sue Chamberlain-Klein

Originally of White River, S.D. and now of Overland Park, Kan., she was named the MVP at the NCC women's indoor track championships in Fargo, N.D., after winning the 55-meter dash (7.32) and the 200-meter dash (25.54). She set the records in both events, marks that took several years to break. She also held school records in the 200-meter and 300-meter dash, while anchoring USD's winning 800-meter relay team. Chamberlain-Klein, who attended USD from 1979-82, received a B.S. degree in physical therapy with Distinction from Kansas University in 1984. Since 1998, she has been an adjunct faculty member and teaching associate with the Department of Physical Therapy Education with the Kansas University Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.
