Coyote faction to race at Mount Marty Invitational

The Meet

A small contingent of women's cross country runners will put on their South Dakota singlets Saturday morning for the Mount Marty Invitational. The gun for the women's 6,000-meter race will go off at 10:30 a.m. at Fox Run Golf Course in Yankton, South Dakota.
 

The Coyotes

South Dakota's roster on Saturday will include five women – fourth-year junior Karlee Phillips, fourth-year junior McKenna Herrmann, freshman Thea Chance, freshman Taylor Byerley and fifth-year senior middle distance runner Madison Jochum. Chance gets the opportunity to race in her hometown of Yankton.
 

The Competition

The Coyotes will line up against host Mount Marty, Bismark State, Black Hills State, Dakota State, Dickinson State, Waldorf and Trinity Bible College.
 

Up Next

The postseason is up next for the Coyote harriers with the Summit League Championships scheduled for 11 a.m. on Oct. 28 in Brookings, South Dakota.
