VERMILLION, S.D. - Angie Bjorkman of Vermillion has been named to the North Central Conference honorable mention All-Academic Team by a vote of the conference's sports information directors. The 2000 NCC All-Academic Team includes five seniors, three juniors and two sophomores with 18 honorable mention selections.

Bjorkman, a 5'7" sophomore defensive specialist from Vermillion, S.D., has a 3.89 grade point average in psychology/pre-occupational therapy. She has been named to the Dean's List at USD. In 32 matches (117 games), Bjorkman has recorded seven kills on 40 attacks. Often brought into the match for her serving ability, Bjorkman has recorded 31 service aces. She also has five set assists for the Coyotes.
