Coyote Cross Country Teams Head to Arkansas for Chile Pepper Festival

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The University of South Dakota cross country teams will face their toughest competition of the 2008 season so far on Saturday, Oct. 18 when they run at the Chile Pepper Festival hosted by the University of Arkansas.

The event includes 36 men's and 41 women's teams and features several Division I programs.

Among the Division I men's programs competing include USD, Arkansas, Baylor, Boston College, Louisiana State, Memphis, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Virginia Tech.

Among the Division I women's teams competing include USD, Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana-LaFayette, LSU, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oral Roberts, SMU, Texas, Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Virginia Tech.

The meet will mark the final tuneup before the Great West Conference meet for the Coyotes.
