Milwaukee, Wis. -- South Dakota head volleyball coach Matt Houk has been named to the
Wisconsin-Milwaukee 20th Anniversary Baseball Team, the school announced on Thursday.
Houk was named to the team as a shortstop. Houk, who will be entering his fourth season as USD's volleyball coach this fall, was a shortstop for the Panthers in 2000 and 2001. Houk played in 104 games and hit .342 with 58 RBI. He ranks fifth at UWM with 30 stolen bases.
Houk earned a spot on the MCC All-Newcomer team in 2000 and helped Milwaukee reach the NCAA tournament in 2001.
Voting was done online over a span of six weeks. The 14-member team will be honored at Miller Park during the Panthers' game against Youngstown State April 29.
