Final Stats

BROOKINGS, S.D.—South Dakota State sophomore Alyssa Brazil rebounded teammate Shelby Raper's shot off the cross bar and scored the only goal in a 1-0 win against South Dakota Friday night at Fishback Soccer Park.

The win moves the Jackrabbits (8-3-2) to 3-0-0 in Summit League play. South Dakota (5-5-3) is winless in two League contests. The Coyotes haven't scored since senior forward Jenny Teslow (19 career goals) sustained a season-ending injury three games ago.

Brazil's goal game seven minutes into the second half and was her fifth goal this season. The teams played with wind gusts that reached 20 miles per hour. The Jacks outshot the Coyotes 13-6 and limited USD to one corner kick.

Nicole Inskeep made four saves to earn the shutout for South Dakota State. Mackenzie Viktor had five saves for the Coyotes, who wrap up a three-game road trip at noon Sunday against North Dakota State (6-7-0, 2-1-0).
