TULSA, Okla. – Vicky McIntyre scored 19 points and grabbed 14 rebounds while Faith Ihim tallied 18 points and 10 rebounds as Oral Roberts topped the South Dakota women's basketball team 81-65 in a Summit League contest at the Mabee Center on Thursday night.

McIntyre shot 5-for-10 from the floor, was 9-for-9 from the free-throw line and defensively tallied six blocks to lead the Golden Eagles (7-9, 1-2) to the win. Ihim shot 6-of-11 from the field and scored 11 points during the second half. Atoe' Jackson finished with 12 points and Dorottya Balla added 10 points to ORU's total.

Nicole Seekamp scored 16 points in the second half to lead the Coyotes (11-4, 1-1) with 18 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Raeshel Contreras added 14 points to the Coyote effort while Margaret McCloud recorded her second straight double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

The Coyotes committed 21 turnovers in the contest, almost 50 percent more than their season average of 14.5 coming into the game. ORU finished with 14 turnovers, shot 41.8 percent (28-for-67), held to USD to a 32.3 shooting percentage (21-for-65), had a 21-11 edge in points off of turnovers and outscored the Coyotes 38-30 in the paint.

In the first half, McIntyre tallied 13 points and eight rebounds while Ihim added eight points to help ORU take a 31-22 lead into halftime. McCloud, who was USD's top scorer in the first half with eight points, was the only Coyote to make more than one field goal in the opening half (4-for-4.) The Coyotes finished the opening frame with 15 turnovers and four assists.

Oral Roberts led by double-digits for almost all the second half and stretched its lead to as many as 19. Outside Seekamp's 16 points in the second half, Contreras added nine points and Tia Hemiller added five of her eight points in the game.

South Dakota will travel to Macomb, Ill., to take on Western Illinois (10-5, 2-0) on Saturday at 4:30 p.m.
