Hoffman twins fueled Coyotes' historic 2008 NCAA run

UPDATE: This story was written in 2018 as part of the 10-year anniversary of South Dakota's national runner-up finish. The Hoffman twins, Jeana and Jenna, will be inducted into the Henry Heider Coyote Sports Hall of Fame in a ceremony to be held Friday, Sept. 13, 2019.

Ten years have passed since the South Dakota women's basketball team's run to the NCAA Division II Championship game in Kearney, Neb. Today, we hear from Jenna and Jeana Hoffman, twin sisters who were senior starters on the national runner-up squad. Find out how they arrived to USD, what made the 2007-08 team so special, and what happened when they teamed up one more time two years after graduation. Plus, what are they up to now? (Hint: Lots of similarities ahead!)

In recognition of the 10th anniversary, GoYotes.com will have a series of features this week leading up to Saturday's on-court recognition of the team during halftime of USD vs. NDSU. Check back every day at noon for the latest story!
