OMAHA, Neb.—Jessica Rogers hit two more home runs, and Taylor Steinfeldt and Emily Winckler also went deep as South Dakota completed a three-game sweep of Omaha with an 11-8, come-from-behind victory Friday at Westside Field.

The Coyotes (13-20, 3-0 Summit) scored 11 runs in all three games and have won four in a row against Omaha dating back to last year's Summit League Tournament. Rogers, who hit a grand slam and drove in seven during Thursday's doubleheader, was 2-for-5 with four more RBIs today. In her last six games, Rogers is 9-for-19 with six home runs and 18 RBIs. Only eight Summit hitters had posted 18 RBIs all season entering play today.

Rogers hit a two-run homer in the top of the first inning, but the Mavericks (12-22, 0-3) countered in the bottom half with a three-run blast by Savannah Fisher, her second of the series and of the season. Omaha made it 8-3 in the fourth following a grand slam by Kelly Pattison.

Coyote third baseman Lauren Eamiguel cut the deficit to 8-5 in the fifth with a two-run single that scored Rogers and Dustie Durham. USD got back-to-back doubles from Camille Fowler and Alyssa Fernandez to begin the sixth before Steinfeldt's bomb tied the game at 8-8. Steinfeldt had sent four foul balls deep before connecting to center field with her sixth home run of the season.

Winckler gave the Coyotes the lead for good with her Summit-leading eighth home run of the season, a solo shot to left that capped the four-run sixth inning and gave USD a 9-8 advantage.

Durham, who won game one Thursday, was brilliant in relief Friday. She entered during Omaha's five-run fourth and retired 10 of the 11 batters she faced. A double by UNO outfielder Aubrey Hacke in the seventh was the lone blemish, but Durham (8-7) struck out three in the final inning to get the win. She totaled five strikeouts in all.

Rogers' second two-run homer came in the top of the seventh. She was 5-for-12 in the series with three home runs and 11 RBIs. The Coyotes hit .406 as a team during the three games. Winckler was 7-for-11 with two doubles, a homer and five RBIs. Fowler, Durham, and Steinfeldt all totaled six hits apiece. In addition to two wins in the circle, Durham was 6-for-11 with two doubles, a home run, three RBIs and four runs scored.

South Dakota will play one more road game, Tuesday at Nebraska (5 p.m.), before playing its home opener against Western Illinois Friday in Vermillion.
