VERMILLION, S.D.—
Chase Christiansen, who has served as assistant director of marketing and promotions inside the South Dakota athletic department since 2015, is now the Director of Athletic Video Production for the Coyotes.
"This new title is far more descriptive of Chase's actual duties in the athletic department," said USD Deputy AD
David Williams. "He has earned my respect and admiration for the quality of videos he has produced and for the enhancements he has brought to our game day environment. Chase is innovative and talented."
The new role gives Christiansen full control over an area he has led since coming on board at USD. In addition to setting up and maintaining the Coyotes' centralized production room housed inside the Sanford Coyote Sports Center, Christiansen has expanded USD's live streaming capabilities to include more than 50 events per year. He also plays a pivotal role in the branding of Coyote athletics through video and social media.
