"Tough match for us today," coach
Brett Barnett said. "Hats off to Iowa State for competing well and playing the big points better than we did.
"I'm proud of how we fought and we're right there. We need to believe in ourselves the whole match and convert all of the chances that we have. Sunday's a big day and another opportunity to improve as we play a very good Drake team."
South Dakota (0-2) faces Drake inside the Roger Knapp Tennis Center at 9 a.m. on Sunday.
