FRESNO, Calif. –
Megan Munneke led the South Dakota women's golf team over the first two rounds of the Fresno State Classic on Monday. The freshman improved by four shots in her second round to card a 3-over-par 75.

Munneke is tied for 53
rd with 154 strokes at 10-over-par. She ranks eighth in the field with 26 pars. Fellow freshman
Emma Sabbagh led USD with four birdies over the first two rounds and has totaled 156 shots.

Christine Danielsson of UC Davis leads the field with 140 strokes at 4-under-par after rounds of 69 and 71. She has pushed UC Davis into the team lead with 570 shots over two rounds. The Coyotes are in 14
th with 631 strokes.

Three other Coyotes are in the field with
Lexi Petersen totaling 161 shots,
Laerke Jensen 162 and
Katie Bartlett 165.

The event concludes Tuesday with tee times beginning at 10:45 a.m. Copper River Country Club is playing 6,200 yards and to a par 72.
