"Really good team performance today," coach Brett Barnett said. "We really needed this win.

"It's been a rough start but we've made a lot of improvements the last couple of weeks and it was good to see people play complete matches. We came out sharp in doubles and that really set the tone to relax and play confident in singles.

South Dakota (1-7) travels to Lincoln to face Colorado State on Saturday.
