Coyotes sit in 11th place after 36 holes in California

SACRAMENTO, Calif. – South Dakota's Megan Munneke fired off rounds of 80 and 81 for a total score of 161 on the first day of the Gunrock Invite to sit tied for 38th place on Monday to lead the Coyotes. As a team, USD shot a total score of 661 after 36 holes to enter the second and final day in 11th place.
 
California holds an eight stroke lead over second place Sacramento State with a score of 601 on the team leaderboard. California's Katherine Zhu and Stanford's Brooke Seay lead the player leaderboard with a score of 147. They are one stroke ahead of Stanford's Calista Reyes and Sacramento State's Tess Blair who are tied for third place.
 
In addition to Munneke, Julia Hall shot a 79 after the first 18 holes and an 84 after the second 18 holes to enter the final day in 45th place. Laerke Jensen sits tied for 62nd place after shooting an 82 and an 86 to total a 168 after the first two rounds.
 
Emma Sabbagh and Jalea Culliver round out the Coyote card after two rounds of action. Sabbagh shot an 83 and an 88 for a total score of 171 to enter the final day tied for 67th place while Culliver sits tied for 71st after scores of 91 and 86 for a total score of 177.
 
South Dakota will finish up action in California on Tuesday with the final 18 holes.
