THE YOTES ON THREE GAME WIN STREAK
The Yotes are on a three game win streak headed into their match with Iowa State this weekend. This is the longest nonconference win streak the Yotes have had since the 2019 season where they won four games in a row from Sept. 17th to Sept. 26th of 2019.

The Yotes have played three overtime games in their first five games of the sea- son. They are 1-0-2 in overtime games this season.
SERIES HISTORY VS IOWA STATE
Iowa State Comes to Vermillion for the first time since 2015. The Cyclones are 4-0 all time vs the Yotes since their first meeting back in 2012. The last game played against the two occured in 2016 where the Cyclones took down the Yotes 2-0. The Yotes will be looking to capitalize on the opportunity as Iowa State comes into this match with a 3-4 record and coming off a OT loss to No. 15 Memphis and a win over Creighton.
A LOOK ACROSS THE PITCH
The Iowa State Cyclones are 2-4 on the season and are coming off a disappointing overtime loss to #14 Memphis university. This will certainly boost their confidence as a second straight loss could mean trouble for the Cyclones. The Cyclones are averaging 1.17 goals allowed with only 1.00 goals averaged this season which is surprising since they are averaging 12.5 shots a match.
LAST TIME OUT
The Yotes defeated Drake and Northern Iowa at home to extend their win streak to three games. Against Drake, the Yotes had their best offensive game of the season recording four goals. Against UNI on senior day, the Yotes brought home the 1-0 victory off a goal from Jordan Centineo.
