The Game
The South Dakota women's soccer team is back at home for the first time since the beginning of September for the Summit League home opener. The Coyotes will host Omaha for a 4 pm late-afternoon match at First Bank & Trust Complex. The game will be streamed live on goyotes.com and will have live stats available.
The Series
The Mavericks lead the all-time series against South Dakota at 20-3-1. Omaha claimed a 1-0 win the last time these two teams met with South Dakota's most recent win coming in 2019 with a 4-2 victory at home.

South Dakota heads into the home conference opener after earning a draw against South Dakota State in the Summit League opener.
Caroline Lewis had one of her best performances in net last Saturday, keeping the Summit's second-best scoring offense off the board for 90 minutes. It was the second straight solo shutout for Lewis after keeping Iowa State scoreless a few weeks prior. She tied a season-high with six saves that night, marking the third time this year she has made that same effort.
Senior forward
Shaylee Gailus continues to lead the charge offensively with three goals on the season and one assist.

Taylor Ravelo, and
Lexie Wood each have multiple goals on the season. Cotter is tied with
Ashby Johnston for the team-lead in assists with two.
The Mavericks
Omaha had a similar season to South Dakota last year in they qualified for the Summit League Tournament for the second consecutive season, and they recorded the most wins in their Division I era. UNO fell in the conference tournament opener in a double-overtime affair to eventual-champion South Dakota State.
The Mavericks opened conference play with a tie against North Dakota and a 2-1 win over North Dakota State in Omaha. Sophia Green scored the game-winner with 10 seconds left in the contest to give Omaha their first conference win of the season. Cece Behrens leads the tem with two goals and four points this year. Four other Mavericks have one goal on the season and six have one assist.Â
Title IX Soccer Clinic Saturday
The first installment of the University of South Dakota athletic department's Title IX clinic series take place this Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the First Bank & Trust Soccer Complex. The clinic is free and open to kids in the 6
th grade and younger.
