South Dakota will take on the Omaha Mavericks Thursday at 7 p.m. at Caniglia Field in Omaha. It will be the Coyotes' first match on the road during Summit League play.

This will be the 26
th meeting between the Coyotes and the Mavericks. Last year South Dakota tied Omaha in Vermillion 1-1.

The Coyotes
South Dakota (6-3-3, 2-1 Summit) defeated the North Dakota Fighting Hawks 2-0 last Thursday.
Janaina Zanin and
Taylor Ravelo scored second half goals to lead the Coyotes to victory. The goals were assisted by
Izzy Quintavalle,
Brooklyn Bordson and
Rylee Haldeman. Quintavalle and Haldeman rank second in the league in assists (4) tied with teammate
Brooke Conway.

Goalkeeper
Caroline Lewis tallied three saves against the Fighting Hawks contributing to the shutout. Lewis has four shutouts this season and is ranked fifth in the Summit League for saves this season with 53.

The Mavericks
Omaha (4-4-4, 1-1-2 Summit) faced a 1-2 loss to Oral Roberts and a 0-0 tie to Denver last week. The Mavericks' one goal last week was scored by Marissa Gohr and assisted by Grace Crockett.

Omaha ranks sixth overall in the Summit League with an average score of 1.417. Sophia Green leads the league in goals with 8 and shots with 38. Green is also ranked second in shots on goal (16) and points (18).
