VERMILLION, S.D. – South Dakota head volleyball coach
Leanne Williamson is pleased to announce the addition of Barrett Power to the roster for the 2024 fall campaign.
Â
Power, a native of Lincoln, Neb., spent the past four seasons at Colorado State University and plans to transfer to South Dakota with one season of eligibility remaining.
Â
"I am very excited to welcome Barrett to the Coyote family," said head coach
Leanne Williamson. "Barrett is going to be a great addition to our program as a player and as a leader. I am looking forward to having her in the gym this spring to train with the team and make an impact!"
Â
Power played in 33 sets and 16 matches for the Rams this fall as a serving specialist and setter. In four years at Colorado State, Power has totaled 275 assists, 114 digs, and 22 service aces.
Â
The 5-foot-10 setter prepped at Lincoln Christian School in Lincoln, Neb., where she was a four-year letter winner and three-time all-conference member.
Â
Power becomes a Coyote in the footsteps of her older brother, Logan Power, who played for the South Dakota men's basketball team from 2014-2019.
