VERMILLION, S.D. – South Dakota suffered a 5-2 setback in a women's tennis dual with Oral Roberts on Friday morning at the USD Tennis Courts on campus.

The doubles point came down to a tie-break at No. 3 doubles that Oral Roberts ended up pulling out 7-5.

South Dakota's top doubles team of
Paige Alter and
Grace Chadick earned a 7-5 victory.

Bea Havlickova, a sophomore, and
Selena Bird, a freshman, earned singles wins for the Coyotes.

Havlickova improved to 4-2 in Summit League play with a 6-1, 6-4 win at No. 1 singles.

Bird, playing at No. 5 singles, earned her second Summit League victory of the season with her 7-5, 6-4 triumph.

South Dakota (4-14, 2-4 in Summit) closes the regular season at Omaha on Sunday.
