08.07.2023

VERMILLION, S.D.—Jerry Palleschi has been added to the Coyote Sports Network team announced Monday by South Dakota Athletic Director David Herbster and Coyote Sports Properties/Learfield. Palleschi will be the voice of Coyote women's basketball and serve as the sideline reporter for Coyote football.

Palleschi, a 2012 graduate of the University of South Dakota, is currently the project director for the Sioux Falls Sports Authority. His job duties include coordinating major events such as the Sioux Falls Marathon, Sioux Falls Boxing Classic, and NCAA championships. The Sioux Falls Sports Authority also assists the Summit League with the Summit League Basketball Championships at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.

"I am beyond excited and honored to be joining the Coyote Sports Network and returning to my alma mater," said Palleschi. "Thank you to Travis Lee and John Thayer for believing in me and offering me this incredible opportunity. I can't wait to get started and help bring the stories of Coyote football and women's basketball to you!"

Prior to joining the Sioux Falls Sports Authority, Palleschi was a producer at Results Radio Townsquare Media in Sioux Falls, where he co-hosted the weekday sports show "Overtime with Jeff Thurn and Jerry Palleschi". While at Results Radio, Palleschi also served as a play-by-play broadcaster for ESPN Sioux Falls and as an assistant production director.

Since graduation, Palleschi has served as a broadcaster and public address announcer for multiple local organizations including the Sioux Falls Storm football team, the Sanford Pentagon, the South Dakota High School Activities Association, the Sioux Falls School District, and Tea Area High School.

Palleschi joins long-time Coyote Sports Network members John Thayer and Gary Culver. Thayer has been the voice of Coyote football and men's basketball since 2020 and has been a part of Coyote radio since 2013. Culver has served as the analyst of Coyote football broadcasts since 2013.
