The Coyotes return home Thursday to take on the UNI Panthers at 4 p.m. at the First Bank & Trust Soccer Complex.

The last three matches between the Coyotes and Panthers have been decided by a single goal.
The Coyotes
South Dakota (2-1-3) is fresh off its first road trip of the season where they beat Idaho State 3-2 Friday and tied Utah State 0-0 Sunday.
Freshman
Brooke Conway scored her first two collegiate goals in the match against Idaho State and
Ashby Johnston netted the game winner with less than eight minutes to play. Johnston leads the Coyotes and ranks fourth in the Summit League with eight points through six games.
In the second road game of the week, the Coyote defense shined, surviving 26 shots from the Aggies. Senior goalkeeper
Caroline Lewis had eight saves and recorded her second shutout of the season.
The Panthers
UNI (5-0-1) comes off a 3-2 win against Omaha which ties them with the 2017 team for the longest unbeaten streak in program history.
Junior Maddie Eastus scored the game-winning goal in the final seven minutes of play. This is her third goal of the season and fourth in her career. She was joined in scoring by senior Ashley Harrington and redshirt sophomore Morgan Barnette.
Sophomore defender Macy Smith is tied with Valparaiso's Addy Joiner for the most points in the Missouri Valley Conference with eight. Senior Lauren Heinsch, a 2022 all-MVC First Team honoree, and Eastus join Smith in the top five scorers of the MVC.
