INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — The University of South Dakota was ranked No. 4 in the Division I Football Championship Series (FCS) Championship Committee's top-10 ranking, announced on ESPN2 Wednesday afternoon during the College Football Live broadcast.
The rankings today provide a snapshot as to where the Championship Committee has teams heading into the final month of the regular season.
The committee's criteria will consider each team's won-lost record, their strength of schedule, and their rankings in the KPI, Massey Ratings, and ESPN's Football Power Index.

This week's rankings will also be the lone committee rankings of the regular season. The 2024 FCS Selection Show will air on Sunday, November 24 at 11:30 a.m. (CT) on ESPNU. The 2024 championship field will consist of 10 automatic qualifiers and 14 at-large selections.
