ATHENS, Georgia – Jenna Veber and Bre Haislip limited South Dakota to three hits as Murray State took the finale for the two schools at the Red & Black Showcase 8-0 on Sunday morning at Jack Turner Stadium.
 
Veber allowed two hits in four innings while Haislip pitched the fifth inning and gave up one hit.
 
Abi Brown doubled and the Coyotes (0-5) also received singles from Delaney White and Alexis Lusk in the setback.
 
South Dakota will return to the diamond at the Panther Invitational hosted by Georgia State Feb 16-18 in Atlanta, Georgia. Opponents for the five-game weekend include Georgia State along with Butler and Belmont twice.
