VERMILLION, S.D.—Eight South Dakota football alumni will display their skills for NFL scouts and CFL representatives during Pro Day inside the DakotaDome on Monday, March 25.
 
The group includes Myles Harden, Brock Mogensen, Stephen Hillis, Brendan Webb, Isaac Erbes, Jonathan Joanis, Micah Roane and Caden Pellizzer. All eight players were a part of South Dakota's historic playoff last fall.
 
Myles Harden, Defensive Back
Team Captain … named to four all-America teams: AFCA (1^st team), Stats Perform (1^st team), Phil Steele (1^st team), Associated Press (3^rd team) … first-team all-MVFC cornerback … one of two FCS players named semifinalists for National Comeback Player of the Year … accepted an invitation to compete in the East-West Shrine Bowl … was on the watch list for the Senior Bowl … one of 11 Coyotes who started all 13 games … part of a secondary that finished 18^th nationally in passing yards allowed … team's fifth-leading tackler with 58 stops (31 solo) … tied for the team lead with seven passes defended including one interception and six pass breakups … had four pass breakups in a 14-7 road win at No. 10 Southern Illinois (11/4) … had an interception that led to a short South Dakota touchdown drive in the season-opener at Missouri (8/31) … recovered a fumble and led the team with eight tackles the following week during a shutout of St. Thomas (9/9).
 
Brock Mogensen, Linebacker
Team Captain … named first-team all-American by four publications: AFCA, Stats Perform, Phil Steele, Associated Press … MVFC Defensive Player of the Year … finished 11^th in the voting for the Buck Buchanan Award (FCS Defensive Player of the Year) … first-team all-MVFC honoree … Coyotes' Campbell Trophy Award Nominee (Academic Heisman) … first-team all-MVFC Scholar-Athlete Team … one of 11 Coyotes who started all 13 games … led the Valley and ranked 15^th nationally in tackles with 113 including 54 solo stops … included in the tally was a sack and 3.5 tackles-for-loss … team's leading tackler in six games during the season … recorded double-digit tackles five times … had a season-high 13 tackles in the team's upset of No. 2 North Dakota State in Fargo (9/30) … reached 13 tackles on two other occasions … had nine tackles and an interception in the win against Murray State (10/7) ... earned CSC Academic All-District honors.
 
Stephen Hillis, Linebacker
Team Captain … honorable mention all-MVFC honoree … started every game at linebacker except the regular season finale at Western Illinois … was third on the team and 20^th in the MVFC in tackles with 71 (30 solo) … had a sack and 2.5 tackles-for-loss … credited with three pass breakups and three quarterback hurries … led the team with 10 tackles in a 34-31 win against No. 23 Youngstown State (10/14) and followed that up with a season-high 13 tackles in a road win at Indiana State (10/21) … recovered a fumble and posted five tackles in the home win against Murray State (10/7) … finished his career with 234 career tackles.
 
Brendan Webb, Defensive Line
Named to two all-American teams: AFCA (2^nd team) and Associated Press (third team) … first-team all-MVFC honoree … one of 29 Coyotes who competed in all 13 games and earned 11 starts at rush linebacker … led the Valley and ranked ninth nationally with 9.5 sacks … led the team and ranked fifth in the Valley in tackles-for-loss with 11.0 … totaled 44 tackles in all including 21 solo stops … credited with four pass breakups and six quarterback hurries … was named MVFC Defensive Player of the Week for his performance in the team's 14-7 win at No. 10 Southern Illinois … tied the program record for most sacks in a game with 4.0 against the Salukis and came up with the defensive play of the game in the closing seconds … batted a 4^th-and-goal pass into the air and it was intercepted by teammate Blake Holden to secure the win … had another monster game earlier in the season when he had six tackles and 3.5 sacks in a home win against Lamar (9/16) … equaled his season high of six tackles in a 14-10 win against No. 10 North Dakota (11/11).
 
Isaac Erbes, Offensive Line
Team Captain … honorable mention all-MVFC honoree … one of 13 Coyotes who started all 13 games, he at right guard … aided a unit that ranked second nationally in fewest tackles-for-loss allowed and 11^th nationally in fewest sacks allowed … named MVFC Offensive Lineman of the Week after helping put up a season-high 559 yards at Western Illinois (11/18) … pushed South Dakota past 400 yards of offense five times … USD had four rushing touchdowns in three games this season.
 
Jonathan Joanis, Linebacker
Competed in 12 of 13 games and earned 10 starts at outside linebacker … made 37 tackles including 20 solo stops … had a season-high six tackles including a 14-yard sack on the first play of the game in the NCAA quarterfinal contest against North Dakota State (12/9) … had two tackles-for-loss on the year … also credited with two pass breakups and a quarterback hurry.
 
Micah Roane, Defensive Line
Team's AFCA Good Works Team Nominee for his work on the field and in the community … one of 11 Coyotes who started all 13 games, he at defensive end … finished fourth on the team in both sacks (4.5) and tackles-for-loss (7.0) … also credited with two pass breakups and one quarterback hurry … posted 40 tackles on the season including 18 solo stops … had a season-high nine tackles in the team's 17-3 win at Indiana State (10/21) … had six tackles, a sack and recovered a fumble in a shutout victory against St. Thomas in the home opener (9/9).
 
Caden Pellizzer, Long Snapper
Coyotes' short and long snapper for all 13 games … snapper for the only FCS kicker who didn't miss a kick all season … USD was 13-for-13 on field goals and 39-for-39 on extra points … worked with punter Tyler Ebel who turned in the 22^nd-best punt average nationally … made two tackles on punt coverage.
 
The competitions to take place at the Pro Day include the bench press, vertical and broad jumps, 40-yard dash, three-cone drill, 20-yard shuttle and individual position drills. All athletes at Pro Day will be showcasing their abilities in preparation for the NFL Draft, set for April 25-27 in Detroit, Michigan.
