VERMILLION, S.D. — The 2025 NCAA Division I FCS Playoff Selection Show is set for 11 a.m. (CT) on ESPNU on Sunday, November 23.
The bracket will consist of a 24-team bracket with eleven teams receiving automatic bids to the playoffs. The Ivy League is set to compete in the FCS Playoffs for the first time this season, dropping the at-large number to just 13 at-large bids.
The first-round matchups are set for November 29 from eight different host institution sites, teams seeded No. 9 through No. 16 with all games on ESPN+. The top eight national seeds receive a bye into the Second Round which is set for the following Saturday, December 6.
South Dakota has made four NCAA FCS Playoff appearances (2017, 2021, 2023-24) and looks to make it three-straight with an at-large berth on Sunday.
