Clermont, Fla. — Two Coyotes on the South Dakota women's triathlon team raced in the Clermont Draft Legal, where both Yotes finished in the top 20 on day two of the event.
Sophomore
Ella Spitz raced in the National Training Development Race on Saturday and Sunday, where she finished in 32
nd and ninth place, respectively.
Spitz cut her Saturday race time by three minutes on day two, where she finished the race in the top 10 with a time of 1:04:36. She was able to cut her transition time down from 4:55 to 2:01. Her splits for the race are as follows:

Freshman
Sydni Sawyer competed in the NCAA wave and took 18
th overall with a time of 35:39. Sawyer shaved off 28 seconds from the time she posted on day one. Her splits are as follows:
