Omaha, Neb. — The South Dakota women's golf team claims the 2025 Stampede at the Creek Champion title after scoring 299 in the final round.
The wind was tough, but the Coyotes were tougher. Five of the Yotes placed in the top 15, with junior
Catie Nekola leading the pack and taking fifth place overall. The team tallied 12 birdies on the day.

Nekola pocketed four of the twelve birdies, putting up a score of 74. Nekola was even on the front nine and finished out the back nine (+2).
Freshman
Eva Greenberg also carded a round score of 74, tying for 14
th overall.
Ella Greenberg (So.) scored a low round on the tournament today with a stroke count of 75 and placed seventh on the individual leaderboard.
Ava Schroeder (So.) and
Emma Henningsson (Jr.) tied for 11
th, carding scores of 83 and 76 respectively.
