SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – South Dakota plays host to all three Summit League Dakota schools this fall as a part of the 2025 Summit League schedule, announced by the conference office Tuesday.

South Dakota will start with three consecutive home matches to open the conference schedule, playing four of their final five matches on the road. The marquee matchup, an Interstate Series showdown with South Dakota State, is scheduled for Sunday, October 19.

After opening the conference slate at home against St. Thomas September 28, the Coyotes will welcome the North Dakota programs to Vermillion, starting with the defending Summit League regular season champion Bison on Thursday, October 2, and wrapping up the homestand on that Sunday against North Dakota.

South Dakota's four conference road matchups will come in a three week span, heading to Kansas City and Oral Roberts on October 9 and 12, then headed to Omaha and Denver on October 23 and 26.

The Summit League Tournament format remains the same for 2025, with the quarterfinals taking place at the higher-seed's home field on November 1 or 2. The semifinals and championship will be held at the No. 1 seed's home turf on November 6 (semifinals) and November 9 (championship).

The Coyotes enter 2025 off a second straight quarterfinals exit, falling to South Dakota State in overtime 2-1 to conclude the 2024 season. The Coyotes finished the season with a 3-9-6 record, going 1-3-4 in conference play.
