AMES, Iowa — An efficient display of passing and explosive offensive plays from a top-25 Iowa State (2-0, 1-0 Big 12) squad stole the show on Saturday afternoon from Jack Trice Stadium with the Cyclones downing the South Dakota Coyotes (0-1, 0-0 MVFC) 55-7 in the Yotes season opener.

Aidan Bouman was 15-for-29 for 126 yards and a touchdown pass, marking his 43rd career touchdown pass. Charles Pierre Jr. had 13 carries for 49 yards, while leading the receiving group with four catches for 37 yards. DeJuan Lewis and RJ Stewart both had nine total tackles to lead the team, each with five solo.
