VERMILLION, S.D. – South Dakota and South Dakota State have agreed to move the Interstate Series, presented by First Interstate Bank, basketball games in Vermillion to Friday nights this season to optimize fan experience, the two schools announced Friday morning.

With Summit League approval of the change this week, the men's basketball game moves to Friday, January 15, and the women's showdown moves to Friday, February 12. Both games will tip at 7 p.m. inside the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.

This move splits the dates of the Interstate Series games to allow fans to attend both games each weekend, with the men playing on Jan. 15 in Vermillion and the women on Jan. 16 in Brookings. In February, the women will play in Vermillion on the 12^th, followed by the men in Brookings on the 13^th.

Single game tickets for all South Dakota home games, including the USD-SDSU rivalry games, are on sale now. Season tickets are also still available as well. Fans can go to our ticket page here, or call the ticket office at (605)677-5959.
