VERMILLION, S.D. — Newly appointed Associate AD for Development
Logan Bornholdt has announced the promotion of
Michaela Mohr to Assistant AD for Yote Fund Operations on Tuesday afternoon.
"I'm extremely excited to announce Michaela as our new Assistant AD and Director of Yote Fund Operations. This is a very well-deserved opportunity, and she will have the chance to make an even greater impact in this new role," said Bornholdt. "Michaela has already had an immense influence on Coyote Athletics, and this position will allow her to expand that impact even further. She is a true Yote through and through, and we are incredibly fortunate to have her dedication and leadership supporting Coyote Athletics."
Mohr has spent the last two years on staff as the Assistant Director of Athletics Annual Giving. In that role, she has helped coordinate annual giving efforts and managing donor engagement for the new Yote Fund. She's had a heavy hand involved in with planning and executing of fundraising events, including back-to-back record-breaking
Calling All Coyotes events.
"I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue building the Yote Fund and serving Coyote Athletics," commented Mohr. "The support from Coyote Nation is what makes USD so special, and I'm excited to keep growing that support for our student-athletes."
Prior to her assistant director role, Mohr served as the Membership Coordinator for the USD Foundation and Alumni Association. In her first role post-graduation from USD, Mohr helped with the retention, upgrades, and relationship management of the then Howling Pack for USD Athletics. She also assisted with game day operations and event logistics in the fundraising arm of Coyote Athletics.
Mohr is a 2022 graduate of the University of South Dakota with a degree in business administration.
