VERMILLION, S.D. – University of South Dakota softball coach Shannon Pivovar announced the schedule for the 2026 fall season.
 
The first five games will all take place at the home of the 2026 Summit League champions, Nygaard Field, throughout the month of September.
 
The Yotes will begin their slate with Midland University on Sunday, Sep. 13 and Mt. Marty University on Saturday, Sep. 19. Both games will begin at Noon CT.
 
On Sunday, Sep. 20, the Yotes will play host to Dakota State University at 1 p.m. first pitch, then again on Wednesday, Sep. 23 against Augustana University. 
 
The home portion of the fall schedule closes with a Tuesday afternoon tilt with Northwestern College (IA). First pitch is slated for 4:30 p.m.
 
As the fall rolls into October, the Coyotes will travel to the Hawkeye State twice to take on Dordt College (Oct. 5) and Iowa Western Community College (Oct. 9). 
 
The autumn schedule concludes Oct. 11 when the Coyotes travel to Wayne State for their final game of the 2026 calendar year.
 
All games, both home and away, will be open to the public free of charge.
