VERMILLION, S.D. – The South Dakota women's golf program begins its 2026-27 campaign with the NDSU Invitational at the Oxbow Country Club in Fargo, N.D. The event will feature the Yotes, the University of North Dakota and the hosts North Dakota State.
 
The 36-hole meet will consist of 18 holes over two days with tee times beginning at 9:10 a.m (CT).
 
NDSU INVITATIONAL
Tuesday marks the fourth consecutive year the Coyotes open their season at Oxbow Country Club for the NDSU Invitational.
 
Last year, South Dakota finished in second place, shooting 604 (+28) as a team. The second place finish was the Coyotes highest placing in three seasons, and best score by 18 strokes.
 
Eva Greenberg, Ava Schroeder, Morgan Rupp and Ella Greenberg all competed in last year's meet in Fargo, looking to improve their scores from last season.

THE STARTERS
All nine Yotes will hit the links this week, with three competing as individuals. The top four scores will count to the team total for the meet.

THE COURSE
Opened in 1975, Oxbow Country Club is a championship level course located 20 miles south of Fargo in Oxbow, N.D. The course was designed and updated by Robert Trent Jones Jr. in 2019. The course spans 7,323 yards from the back tees, proving to be a challenging course for all levels.
 
THE WEATHER
Both days look to be under sunshine with little-to-no chance of precipitation in Oxbow. 
 
Tuesday will be a hot one with the high reaching close to 90 degrees with a west wind at 14mph Fairer temperatures will grace the course on Wednesday with a high of 77 degrees and winds out of the north-west at 13mph.
