Competed in six events and 18 rounds on the season … shot a team low round of 68 (-3) at the GCU Invitational (March 15-16) … recorded the best 54-hole score on the team with a 214 at the GCU Invitational … recorded one top-10 finish … had a 270-181 win loss on the season … shot an average score of 74.78 … recorded five rounds of par or below … +3 relative to par on the season … tied for 27^th place at the Summit League Championships with a score of 229

2019-20
Competed in two events and six rounds on the season … shot a low 54-hole tournament score of 211 at the Loyola Intercollegiate (Feb. 22-24) … shot a season-low round of 68 at the same event … recorded three rounds at or below par … averaged 71.33 strokes per round … tied for eighth place at the Loyola Intercollegiate … his eighth place finish tied him for the highest placing on the team on the season … finished one-over-par at the UNCG Martin Downs Collegiate (Feb. 14-16) … spring season was cut short due to COVID-19.

2018-19
Earned second-team all-Summit League honors … played in all 11 events and 33 rounds … ranked second on team with 74.1 strokes per round … led USD with 12 rounds at or below par … had a season-best finish of ninth place at the CSU Ram Masters Invitational (Sept. 17-18) … tallied a season-best score of 2-under-par at the Golfweek Program Challenge (Sept. 9-11) … finished even par at the Missouri Tiger Invitational (April 8-9).

2017-18
Competed in all 11 events on the Coyotes’ schedule as a true freshman … averaged 75.9 strokes per round …. placed 10^th at the Summit League Championship (April 29-May 1) with 227 strokes … the 10^th place finish was a season-best … tallied back-to-back 69’s at the season-opening Itani Quality Homes Collegiate (Sept. 11-12) ... also tallied a 69 at the SDSU Jackrabbit Invitational (March 9-10) marking three rounds in the 60’s … Tallied a 54-hole low 214 strokes at the Itani Quality Homes Collegiate (Sept. 11-12) … shot five rounds at or below par … made the Summit League honor roll.

Prep
Arends earned Iowa all-state honors three times… Is a five-year letter winner at MOC-Floyd Valley High School… Earned a second place showing at the Iowa Junior Amateur in 2016… Held an 18-hole scoring average of 72.67 as a junior…
