Started 53 games and finished second on the team with a .262 average, improving more than 100 points from her freshman season...finished with one homer, four doubles and 12 RBI...had eight multi-hit games...was 3-for-4 with an RBI in win over Oakland (04/07/12), setting career-high for hits in a game...tied that with a 3-for-4 effort with an RBI in win over Western Illinois (04/28/12)...was 2-for-3 with two RBI over Oakland (04/06/12)...finished with 60 assists in the field...named to Academic All-Summit League team...also named to the Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.

Started all 51 games at shortstop...finished with three homers and 13 RBI at the plate, hitting .154 in 123 at-bats...hit a key three-run homer in win over Hartford (04/21/11), posting a career-high three RBI in the game...scored a career-high two runs against Youngstown State (03/13/11)...finished with 74 putouts and 82 assists from shortstop position...finished season with eight-game errorless streak.
Prep
Enjoyed a successful playing career at Yankton High School...named all-state honorable mention selection in helping Yankton to a fifth-place finish at the state tournament in 2009...In 2008, Broders was first-team all-state and also part of the Yankton's third-place team. She also earned all-state honors in 2007...Broders hit .541 with 12 homers and 37 RBI, while hitting .368 in 2009...she hit .474 with three homers in 2007...in 2008-09 for the Yankton Fury, Broders hit .314 with 14 homers. At the nationals, she hit .474 with two homers and a .947 slugging percentage...also participated in track and field at Yankton, where she was a three-time placewinner at state...also a member of the Sioux Falls Fusion club team and of the Yankton Fury summer softball team...also named to the South Dakota Basketball Coaches Association Academic All-State team for women's basketball.
