Competed at the first two meets before a stress fracture ended his season…had a season-best finish of 6th place at the Creighton/Omaha Double Dual with a time of 27:50…ran a season-best time of 26:08 (8k) at Woody Greeno…named to the Summit League’s Distinguished Scholar’s list.

Earned All-Summit League honors as part of distance medley relay that took second at Summit League Indoor Championships...finished with three event wins on the season...part of 4x1600 relay that set school outdoor record at Drake Relays with time of 16:59.62...ran personal-best of 1:52.05 in 800 meters at Mount Marty Twilight Meet...also ran personal-best of 4:13.87 in one-mile at Frank Sevigne (indoor meet)...ran personal-best of 8:52.80 in 3,000 meters at Jack Johnson Classic (indoors)...named to Academic All-Summit League team...named to the Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.

Finished a strong indoor season with a fourth place finish and a fifth place finish at the GWC Indoor Championships...finished fourth in the one mile run with a time of 4:14.17 and fifth in the 800 meter run with a 1:56.01...completed the outdoor season with a fourth place finish in the 1500 meter run at the GWC Outdoor Championships where he ran a season-best time of 3:57.96...also earned a seventh place finish at the conference championships in the 8000meter run...ran an outdoor-season best time of 1:55.35 in the 800-meter run at the Howard Wood Dakota Relays.

Prep
Helped Coach Dave Dannenbring and the Bucks win four cross country titles during his prep career...earned four individual all-state honors, including back-to-back fourth-place finishes his last two seasons...as a senior, also claimed All-America honorable mention from the South Dakota Coaches Association and was the conference individual champion...on the track, claimed five all-state honors as an individual and holds the school record in the mile at 4:18...as a junior, he was a member of Yankton's school-record 4x800-meter relay that ran a 7:54, which ranked in the top 10 in South Dakota high school history...the squad captured the state title during Brenner's sophomore season...his senior year he ran 4:21 to capture the state championship in the mile...was vice president of National Honor Society and president of the Y-Club...was on the Roll of Excellence in the classroom.

Son of Warren and Laurie Brenner...Biology major and is in the Pre-Med program.
