Named as the Coyote Male Athlete of the Year… earned first-team all-conference at the Summit League Conference championships after a 2nd place finish in a time of 25:10 (8k)…named Summit-League athlete of the week (9/18) after placing 5th at the Woody Greeno Invitational in a time of 24:58 (8k)… had two individual wins on the season at the Creighton/UNO Double Dual and the Tim Young Invitational…had a season-best 8k time of 24:52 at the Tim Young Invitational…named to Academic All-Summit League team, also earning Distinguished Scholar status.

Earned one All-Great West honor with victory in 3,000-meter steeplechase at the GWC Outdoor Championships with a time of 9:42.91...also placed eighth at the outdoor championships in the 1500 meters with a time of 4:05.02...ran an outdoor season-best time of 9:14.41 in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the SDSU/UND Double Dual...earned a sixth place finish at the indoor conference championships in the 5,000 meter run with a time of 15:15.91.
Prep
Ran for Coach Kaci VanderVorst at Eureka High School...won the last two state cross country meets, after finishing eighth as a sophomore and seventh a freshman...also won the Region 4B meet three times and was a two-time conference champion and held the state meet record time for Elks Golf Course (16:41)...on the track, he helped Eureka's medley relay win the state title in 2009 while finishing third in the 1,600 meters and 3,2000 meters as an individual...at the 2010 state championships he won the 1,600 meters with a time of 4:31 and finished second in the 3,200 meters with a time of 10:06...holds school records in the 800 (2:00), 1600 (4:31), 3200 (9:52) and 4x800 relay (8:17).
