The goal of the program is to enhance the student-athlete's experience and prepare them for life after athletics.
Working in conjunction with USD Student Services, student-athletes would be invited to attend Life Skills & Career Development events and in return would earn Coyote Cup points for their attendance. Student-athletes may attend as many events as they would like.
Teams that attend Life Skills events will have an opportunity to earn up to 250 points per event based on the percentage of their team that attends the event (ex: if 11 of 14 volleyball players attend the networking event, volleyball would receive 80 percent of the allowable 250 points). Multiple personal and career development events will be offered throughout the year and are a great opportunity to enhance your personal and career skills while earning points toward the Coyote Cup.
Attending other non-athletic events on-campus earns 5 Coyote Cup points.
