Graduate Assistant-Video Coordinator
The University of South Dakota Athletic Department is seeking an individual to serve in a
graduate assistantship position as Video Coordinator.
Responsibilities: Assist the Assistant Athletic Director-Marketing & Fan Engagement on all
marketing and promotional activities for USD athletics and selected outside events. The Video
Coordinator is responsible for assisting with use of the athletic video boards for athletic and
special outside events including creating content, overseeing game day production, training staff,
and game day operations.
Duties include, but not limited to, creating multi-media content for marketing purposes including video and graphics for use on athletic video boards, website, social media, and/or television, communicate with Coyote Sports Properties (Learfield) to ensure execution and fulfillment of partner contracts; work with campus groups and student body to drive attendance and enhance game-day atmosphere.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and a background in video production with preference given
to those with experience in Athletics, Daktronics video board equipment and displays as well as live switching.

This is an hourly position requiring irregular hours, including nights and weekends, with reduced tuition. The successful candidate must be fully admitted into the University of South Dakota graduate school. Please refer to the Graduate School website at
