History

In honor of all Coyote track and field and cross country coaches and competitors, past and present, this endowment was established by a core group of USD track and field and cross country coaches, former coaches and alumni, with the goal that all other persons associated with or interested in these programs will have an effective means to demonstrate their financial support for Coyote track and field and cross country.

Fund Notes

Started in 1998, earnings generated are used for competition clothing and/or equipment for individual track or cross country athletes; travel expenses associated with intercollegiate competition for individual track and field or cross country athletes; and scholarships for individual track and field or cross country or other appropriate expenditures to enhance the USD track and field-cross country program as approved by the Track and Field-Cross Country Endowment Committee. The committee will consist of at least three members, chaired by the head coach of the USD track and field-cross country program and two appointed USD track and field alumni.
