Finished a season-best third in 3,000 meters at John Dalton meet (indoors) with a time of 12:06.57, which was a season-best time...ran a season-best of 20:17 in 5,000 meters at Sioux City Relays (outdoors)...named to Academic All-Summit League team, earning Distinguished Scholar status...named to the Summit League Commissioner's List of Academic Excellence.

Recorded season-high fourth-place finish at the Sioux City Relays in the 10,000 meter run with a time of 41:47.11.
Prep
Competed for Carrie Oakley and Craig Bruening at Parkston High School...in cross country, finished in the top 25 of Class A all four years, including a fourth-place finish in 2009 to claim Elite 25 honors....also was named Parkston's most valuable cross-country runner twice...on the track, qualified for the state meet seven times and was the school record holder in the 1,600 meters and 3,200 meters...in 2009, she won the 1,600 state title, finished second in the 3,200 and eighth in the 800 meters...at the 2010 state championships she finished second in the 3,200 in 12:14....owned personal-bests of 2:25 in the 800 and 5:23 in the 1,600.
