Jace Rindahl

Jace Rindahl is in hissecond year as running backs coach at South Dakota after being an assistant defensive and special teams coach at Wisconsin-Whitewater, his alma mater, from 2009 to 2012.

A player for UW-Whitewater from 2005-08, Rindahl was a three-year starter at linebacker and competed in four Division III national championship games, winning it all in 2007. He was named 2008 Defensive Player of the Year by D3football.com and finished his playing career with several All-America honors.

Rindahl coached linebackers for UW-Whitewater during its run of three-straight national championships from 2009 to 2011. He assisted with developing defensive schemes and blitz packages and also coached all aspects of special teams during his four seasons on staff.

While coaching, Rindahl completed both his bachelor's degree in physical education (2010) and his master's degree in professional development (2012).

Rindahl was a three-sport start at Cambridge High School in Wisconsin, excelling in football, basketball and baseball. He was a 12-time letter winner and an all-state linebacker.
