Competed in 10 events during the 2025–26 season for South Dakota, posting a 73.83 scoring average across 30 rounds. He delivered several strong performances throughout the year, highlighted by a win at the Zach Johnson Invitational after carding rounds of 68-70-70 (-5). Holtz added a top-10 finish at the Red Bandanna Invitational and placed 17th at the La Tour Intercollegiate. He also finished tied for 14th at the Summit League Championship, closing the season with steady play in postseason competition.

Golfed in nine tournaments for the Coyotes, totaling 27 rounds in his freshman season... averaged 73.07 strokes and sits ninth in The Summit League... clinched a top 5 finish at the Babygrande Golf Donald Ross Collegiate after putting up round scores of 69, 72, and 70, ending (-5) on the course and tying for fourth place... finished out the spring slate tying for sixth place at the Summit League Championships and marking a new low round score of 66 during day two of the conference championships.
