Zoya Robbins joined the Coyotes’ coaching staff in the summer of 2023 following a collegiate career at Minot State in North Dakota and a professional stint in Europe competing for the Arrows of Ostrava in the Czech Republic.
 
Robbins hails from Aurora, Colorado, and was a pitcher and infielder at Minot State from 2019-22. She won 18 games in the circle in that span and struck out 115 batters in 237 innings. Offensively, she hit .271 with six home runs and 33 RBIs.
 
Prior to her senior year at Minot State, Robbins offered one-on-one coaching lessons to girls aged 8-17. After competing overseas, Robbins returned to her alma mater to serve as a graduate assistant coach for the 2023 campaign.
 
Robbins earned her undergraduate degree in criminal justice. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sport management.
