Was a standout at Southeast High School, where she was a four-year starter in softball...was named to the Class A All-State softball team and to the Super State second team during her senior year...was selected to the all-city softball team four times, to the All-Heartland Athletic Conference four times and was honorable mention all-state three times... was the Serotoma award winner for outstanding female athlete in 2010 and 2011...also was the KFOR athlete of the year from Lincoln Southeast High School in 2011...also played club softball for the Echoes Elite Gold softball team, where she hit over .300 each season.
