Comes to USD after an outstanding career at North Star High School in Lincoln...named the Co-Captain of the Journal Star's Super State team in 2009 and is a two-time Super State selection...also named to All-Nebraska first-team by the Omaha Herald...struck out a Nebraska Class A state record 20 batters in a win over Columbus in the A-5 District tournament last fall...as a senior, Policky finished with a 32-10 record and a 1.03 ERA with 433 strikeouts and only 24 walks, all North Star school records...also hit .333 with 23 RBI...finished her career with 70 wins, 899 strikeouts and a 1.37 ERA in 716 innings -- all North Star HS records...also finished with 139 hits, 67 RBI and 117 singles, also school records...all-state honorable mention selection in 2007.
