Summit League Champion the Distance Medley Relay with a time of 9:53.49 … all-Summit League in the 4x400 relay with a third place time of 3:14.55 … also placed fourth in the 800 with a personal best 1:50.29 at the championships that is third on the USD Top 10 … ran on the indoor school record distance medley relay that clocked 9:47.64 at the Dr. Rick McGuire Invitational … the USD all-Summit League 4x400 squad’s time of 3:14.55 was the fastest indoor 4x400 since 2002 … took second in the 800 running 1:51.71 at the Dr. Rick McGuire Invitational … placed inside the top 10 in every race but one during the season.
Outdoor Track & Field
Competed in the 800 and 4x400 at the Summit League Championships … ran 1:56.49 for 20
th in the prelims in the 800 and placed fifth in the 4x400 … won the 4x400 University Division at the Drake Relays with a time of 3:11.93, the fastest 4x400 at USD in the last 24 years … ran an outdoor best in the 800 of 1:50.81 at Bryan Clay Invitational … took third at the Drake Relays in the 800 with a 1:52.72 clocking.

Indoor Track & Field
Ran a leg of the distance medley relay (10:02.05) that placed third at the Summit League Championships... all-Summit League in the DMR... The team's relay time ranks fifth in the Coyote Indoor Top 10 list... Ran a season's best 1.54.33 in the 800 at the SDSU Holiday Open... Had a season's best 51.01 in the 400 at the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational... Also added a fifth place finish in the 800 (1:54.87) at the SDSU Last Chance.
Outdoor Track & Field
Earned all-Summit League honors with a third place finish in the 4x400 (3:14.05) at the Summit League Championships… took ninth in the 800-meters at the championships with a 1:53.02 clocking… ran a personal best 1:51.81 in the 800 at the USD Tune Up… clocked a best in the 400 of 50.20 at the USD Early Bird… won the 4x400 at the USD Tune Up in 3:15.0… placed inside the top 10 in 10 events during the season.

State champion in the 1,600-meters...school record holder in the 800 and 1,600...holds personal bests of 50.14 in the 400, 1:55.84 in the 800, and 4:19.74 in the 1,600.

Secondary education major... son of Tara and Jason Atwood...his three older siblings, Ashlynn, Alec, and Anna all attend or attended USD.
