Three-time state qualifier… state runner-up in the discus… also a three-time Iowa USATF Field Athlete of the Year… personal bests of 186-0 in the discus, 51-10 ½ in the shot put, and 166-4 in the hammer throw… outside of track and field, he is a state runner-up with the football team at Bishop Heelan and a state semifinalist with the Crusader basketball program… named academic all-state and academic all-district.
